MAC teams were asked to consider promotion/relegation or declare divisions for the 2014-2015 competitive season. Now that most of our information about team movements has been received, the MAC Division List is provided to confirm with all teams that the information is correct.
Draft Schedules will be published by May 31. Schedules will be finalized by June 15. You need to provide bye dates or home/away considerations to your respective division coordinator not later than Friday May 23rd as previously requested in earlier emails. (Coordinators are listed on the spreadsheet.)
If your team is not receiving emails, please be sure to provide your GU your updated contact information.
Congratulations to Rocky Gorge, the 2014 USAR D2 Club Men National Champions!
Rosters need to be submitted to the MAC Chair for each match. Each game counts individually towards USA’s eligibility for playoffs, so we aren’t treating this as a weekend, with a roster of 28. Each match can have 23 players. Use this Roster Form. Teams will need to track of the players that played in each match to attain eligibility towards USA National playoffs.
Eligibility for each player is based CIPP before the March 15th date with their club. All transfers should be complete at this point. If a player did transfer from another club, and a waiver is required, it should already be submitted to USA. So if they aren’t already on the team’s roster by the 3/15 date, they are not eligible to play. The waiver will be needed should a team continues to May 16th national playoffs.
We don’t have these matches posted online via the CMS system. Scores will be collected from the referees and posted online to macrugby.org.
Margy Thomas will be there in person at 10am on Saturday to start Roster ID checks for the first teams playing and sign Roster forms. The teams that advance will need to save the signed roster form for future reference.
Information about the MAC playoff weekend is here.
Additional information can be found within the Men’s XVs, Women’s XVs, and About sections of this site.
First:
As the fall portion of the 2013-2014 Competitive cycle is now complete, please make sure all score reports and rosters are complete not later than December 7th. This includes setting the match status to a “Finished” status. If you are still having issues with any aspects of this system, please inform your Representative and Margy Thomas to escalate to USA Rugby.

The competitive region is looking for feedback on the system and would like to receive your input based on your experience using the system this season. The survey should only take about 10 minutes so please complete it as soon as possible. From my understanding, there is no limitation on the number of people who can complete the survey for each team but please limit to the one or two people per club who used the system the most this fall so we can get meaningful data from experienced users.
The survey will close on Friday November 29th.
Two remaining phone calls and webinars will be hosted in order to review the new reporting system and how to use it. Guidelines for use will also be reviewed on the call. There are 25 available seats on each call. Please download any necessary software you need in order to join the phone call and view the online screen sharing session.

A small, but significant bug was found in the USAR reporting system (reported by Wilmington). If a penalty try is awarded and is one of 4 trys, a bonus point is not given.
We have reported this to USAR and will update this notice once it is resolved.
Reminder: you must now report your results at http://usarugbystats.com/ (Men’s Clubs received their access codes last week; Women’s Clubs got them earlier this week). You must also enter your roster for the match.
Check that the opposing team entered the correct score, if your club did not do so.
